Know what you getting into with Takealot.com business

Takealot.com is an example of business which is arrogant with no consideration for its customers. They put illiterate people at the forefront of their customer care who are inconsistent with in their approach to customer service. I picked up a factory fault with their item. Knowing that it is an item classified as non-returnable according to their policy I tried to return at their desk before leaving their premises. They advised me they do not have stock on the item and that I should take it home and log a return online as per normal. I get a totally different set of ******** people when I log a return call. One of them says the ticket will be reopened and asked for a picture of the fault. I sent a picture and different person replies saying they confirm my item is not a returnable one. Long story short, back and forth until I gave up. Advice, be careful out there with with companies such as Takealot.com whose only motive is to leech money out of you.
