Items paid for were not delivered in full

I ordered four of the same items for delivery on the 30th November 2017. I received a package on time but only 2/4 items were in the package. I immediately informed Takealot that they did not deliver in full and asked for the items to be delivered the next morning. I created a 'return' on my profile as instructed with the following message, "I ordered four of these items and I only received two. I want the other two items to be delivered by tomorrow morning. I need these items for an event tomorrow morning first thing. Please bring two more items so that I have a total of four. DO NOT arrive without the two extra items otherwise there is no point." . The customer service agent on the phone expedited the process via email. No one pitched on Friday.

I then phoned the customer care line again on Friday and again expedited the process with clear instruction that I wanted only one item delivered and one item refunded (due to the mess up the item was no longer wanted by the one person who I bought it for). Again emails were circulated by the agent but I received no follow-up.

Now Monday 4 December arrives and the delivery man comes to collect the two items that were already delivered. I sent him back empty handed as collection of the two items serves no point, as the message sent with the return clearly stated. Even on his own device the message (as above) was clearly stated.

At 12:00 today I phoned the customer care line and eventually explained to the agent (apparently this is a hard concept to grasp) that I wanted a refund for the two outstanding items.

Due to the inability of Takealot's team to read clear instructions and react promptly, I would like a refund for the two outstanding items. I am seriously unhappy with the service I have received and there are at least two other customers who will not shop with Takealot.com again due to this.
