Items not delivered

I ordered two items from Takealot.com towards the end of November. Delivery was due on 05 December but I only received one of the items I ordered on 13 December.

I called them on 14 December and they promised that they would have the item delivered to me by close of business on Fri, 14 Dec as the item was meant to be a gift for a wedding on 15 Dec. To date the item has not been delivered. I sent an email twice with no response. And I called. The response I got when I called is that I must wait. They are unable to tell me when the item will be delivered and they can't give me my money back.

The lack of communication and accountability from Takealot.com is appauling.
