Item return rejected with no reason provided

I recently ordered the incorrect waste tank cartridge for my printer from Takealot. I immediately contacted them to arrange a return, ensuring the package remained unopened with all original seals intact. The service agent requested photos of the unopened, sealed package, which I promptly sent. While I initially opted to drop off the item at a pickup point, they instead arranged for collection from my home.

Despite the item being collected, my return was rejected. The agent cited their returns policy, which states that a product may be returned at no charge provided it is undamaged and unused, with all original labels and stickers still attached, in its original condition with all seals intact, and not missing any accessories or parts. I thoroughly read and comp**** with the policy, yet my return was still rejected without any specific reason provided.
