Item ordered not actually in stock 4 August 2016

<p>After extensive research I decided to order the headphones that I really want through Takealot. The price seemed extremely good, so I ordered them right away with express delivery.</p> <p>The following day I waited with great anticipation and frequently refreshed the order tracking page. The hours dragged on without any status change, so I decided to email customer care. Nearly 4 hours later I recieved a response that they would look into it. Later I called, only to be told that the supplier was actually out of stock at the time of me placing the order.</p> <p>Long story short, don't be surprised if your order cannot be fulfilled as has been the case with me. I have wanted to start purchasing through Takealot because prices are often terrific, but as a first experience, it's really not great. I hope this isn't simply be a tactic to mislead shoppers with low priced items that may never actually be available. I wonder how often this happens. Personally, I am very dissapointed. </p> <p> </p>
