Item not delivered by date promised & no notification

I placed an order (***8) for R3500 on 21 August. Delivery date 27 August. Your website says "We'll deliver your order by the Estimated Delivery Date provided in your Payment Confirmation email." I tried to track my order today (27 August) only to find it HASN'T BEEN SHIPPED yet! Why was I not notified!? This order contains birthday presents for my twins! I called customer service at 11am and was told by Mandisa that she would contact the warehouse to find out why there was a delay and she would call me back. I called again at 4pm and spoke to Chad who advised that the items were only being shipped today and delivery would most likely be 29 August. Takealot, you have really let me down! I would have gone to the shops to buy these items had I known you were so unreliable and poor at communication.
