Item in basket out of stock when checking out
I placed the despicable me item on the daily deals in my basket and when I checked out it shows at a price of R549 and not R349?? and says it is out of stock???? Why cant I get the item at the price advertised. It indicated that there was 2 in stock when I put it in my basket.

We understand your disappointment by missing out on the Minions Daily Deal today as it was very popular. Adding a deal to your cart does not guarantee you the item at the deals price. It is only allocated and reserved upon completion of the checkout process. The opportunity unfortunately exists that other customers are able to complete checkout before you and the deal then sells out. As Daily Deal offers have limited stock, the deal won't be available for the entire day should it sell out and will then revert back to its original price if there is still regular stock.
