item being returned twice and not being refunded

In December 2025, I purchased the Game Stick, which was a package with two remotes. Once opened as a Christmas gift, it was brought to my attention that the one remote was not working, i returned it and received a new package. This would be kept for a birthday in April as Christmas had now passed. Once the box was unrapped i noticed the item has been used as teh box was damaged . It was then brought to my attention that the stick is not working as there was no memory card or game card in it. This is the second return for the same gift for the same person! only for takealot to email me and say return recieved and rejected due to the time period being over for retusn yet it comes with a 6month warrenty , this was a christmas gift which was returned which turned into a birthday which was returned . I dont feel it was my fault that a christmas gift needed to become a birhtday gift which was not opened before ther birthday and now to be told I can't return it . Clearly on my profile, you can see there has been a problem with this item due to it already being returtned wether there is a memory card or not in it i cant confirm as the stick is working but nothing is displaying on the TV so i would presume there is not memory card / game card in the usb . i would like the item to be replaced and for me to try and gift it for the third time.
