Is it really discounted?

Has anyone noticed how Takealot increases their prices when they increase their discounts? So, when you think its a good deal its actually the same price.... I've kept my eye on some products in my wishlist and this seems to be very common practice. Even though Takealot is very convenient it is very disheartening to seem them do this.
