iPhone more damaged than went sent it for "repairs"

My experience with Takealot has been shocking to say the least. Their customer service and continuous errors have left me frustrated as a loyal customer and the list of issues seems to be getting longer by the day! I had an issue with my iPhone 11 Pro battery, which I purchased from Takealot. This was the ONLY issue I had with the phone. After many fail attempts at the iStore, I logged a return with Takealot, who collected the phone and sent it to the iStore. The Takealot warehouse team explicitly told me over the phone that the iStore would repair my battery for free. After a month later, Takealot informed me that nothing was wrong with my device and that it would be returned to me. The management team then said that they do not know why their warehouse promised a battery replacement to me and that there was nothing more that could be done to help me. After multiple phone calls and complaints, I decided to just get my phone back as I was without one for over a month. When I eventually received my phone, I charged it and when it was time to use it, the screen went green and black and switched off completely after me using the phone for about 2 minutes! I then logged a return with Takealot again the next morning, who has now collected my phone again (after going to the wrong address TWICE). I cannot understand how they continuously tell me they value my support and value me as a customer when they can not even solve ONE minor issue that I had with the phone. I had called them over 10 times trying to solve this issue, which has still not been solved to this day! I had to keep calling to speak to the management team, who should have been the one calling me to try assisting me in any possible way. I spent a massive amount of money on this phone, only for Takealot to supply with a faulty batch, provide me with pathetic customer service, and then return a phone to me which is in a much worse condition that when I sent it in. Today they tell me that my warranty is expired even though the phone was damaged in their possession. I highly recommend that you NEVER purchase a mobile phone from them, as their after purchase customer service on high valued items it appalling.
