Invalid info on website of product leads to utterly poor service delivery. Don't ever count on them when buying a PRODUCT!! RATHER USE OTHER WEBSITES

I have been deceived by takealot telling me that they have an item in stick when in fact they did not! What an ********* company or an *********** IT department that fails to update their stock system.

I had ordered a set of luggage two weeks ago with an expected delivery on Oct 22, they took payment from me and gave me an order confirmation to confirm delivery by 22nd of Oct. This was in line with travel plans I had for the 26th. Now after failing to receive my goods from takealot as per the order confirmation on the 22nd, I call customer care only to find out they don't have stock anymore and I must wait till the 1 Nov. If that was the case I would have went to the store and bought this brand direct as it had been on special for the same price! But because takealot indicated delivery within my aligned travel times I went with them for convenience. What a wake up call did I get. Now I had to go to China mall and but a cheap set just for the weekend!!! Takealot is an utter waste of my time and money... They wouldn't even make a plan for an overnight delivery to compensate for this. I spent 500 rand for silly set of luggage again.!!! I hope someone from takealot with a mandate can call and assist me soon!!!
