Inept and indifferent

On the 22nd of August I ordered a French language Blue Ray disc entitled "You will be my son". Eventually the order arrived on Friday, 09 September, along with two other movies I had purchased. Imagine my bewilderment and disappointment when I opened the package to discover an entirely different movie: "What Richard Did". Well, when I informed takealot that I had no desire to know "what Richard did", I had to embark on a cumbersome process of logging a return (who made the error here?) and I was also required to take a picture of the front of this Blu Ray Disc and the bar code and e-mail it. This was all done by me, despite the irritation, by midday on Friday. It is now well past 14H00 on Monday and I have yet to have the incorrect item collected. What really irks me too is takealot's "we don't trust you" policy of inspecting the returned item first, and then only dispatching the correct item. Again I ask, who made the error here? To add insult to injury, I was offered a R50 voucher to compensate me for the inconvenience. So generous of you, really, takealot. I'm overwhelmed at your magnanimity. I suggest you keep it.
