Incorrect product supp**** and wont refund price difference

I bought Safari shoes from takealot. The wrong item was supp****. I wore it for a day before realizing the product is different from the pictures and they shipped a lower tier and cheaper shoe. I returned the shoes. They refused the refund which i can understand. My problem is that there was a R300 price difference between the 2 types of shoes, which they refused to credit me. Now i have paid premium price for cheap shoes, and the seller who shipped the wrong cheap shoe in the premium shoe box cant be held accountable. This is *****.
