Incorrect item delivered

Appalled as the disgusting service . In May I ordered the Renal Diet Cookbook and Vitamin B + Folate tablets. The order total was R599.00. 3 weeks later a book which I had never heard of was delivered. I immediately contacted Takealot and was told to log both items in as returns. I also had to log in the incorrect book received. When I queried on how I could do this, I was told that it was the only way they could follow up as to what happened. The following day the courier came to collect 3 orders. I explained to him that I could only return the incorrect book received. I then contacted Brandon and told him that Takealot keep on requesting the other 2 items to be returned. He told me that he would have to credit both the items back to my account until this was sorted and he would cancell the returns request. The Renal Cookbook was credited back to my account, the correct book delivered and the Cookbook amount debited again. On my returns profile on Takalot it reflects that both items were credited. The only credit reflecting on my Credit card was for the Renal Diet Cookbook and not the R250 for the vitamins. The vitamins were NEVER delivered. After numerous emails to Takealot, I was sent an email by Jainad apologizing and was told that the matter for the refund was being investigated with their warehouse. On Saturday I received an sms from Takealot saying that the credit was denied!. After sending more emails to Takealot to takealot regarding this last email, today I received another email from Michelle saying that they had been trying unsuccessfully to collect the two items from me. I am speechless! How on earth can they want to collect items which were never delivered in the first place. I have told them that if my account is not credited R250 by tomorrow, I am going to take legal action against them. Dealing with people who are certainly not taking the trouble to read my emails or otherwise they either cannot read or cannot understand English. I am so disappointed in Takealot as I have spend thousands with them over the years and they have ruined their good reputation as far as I am concerned. Brenda R
