Incorrect delivery address, ill-manned delivery guy!!!

On Saturday morning we were expecting a parcel (Guaranteed Saturday Delivery - order number ***0). We got a delivery report at 13h30 but we had not received the package and the order was not left with our nanny who was at home at the time. We made about 3 calls to Takealot.com, none of which were returned so I drove over to the warehouse at Booysens Reserve looking for answers.

I was advised that the delivery man goes by Mxondisi.

Eventually we got a call from the Mxondisi, saying that he had dropped the parcel and that it was signed for by our relative. The delivery address was for a complex not a home, the complex name and unit number was on the parcel yet the package was dropped across the road at a house. Someone residing at the home signed for the package, but no verification was done to verify who the person was and the driver marked the package as being signed for by my wife.

I was not available and my wife ran across the road to meet Mxondisi and the neighbour asking how this had happened when the delivery details were clear on the parcel? The neighbour apologised, but Mxondisi was not apologetic at all. In fact, we asked how he could let this happen and that we plan on reporting him; his response was "I dont give a F__K if you are going to report me". Now is this the way to speak to customers; having drivers with bad attitudes address us. I feel if I were present he would not have said this since my wife was alone.
