Inconsiderate and ridiculous return policy

I purchased a surveillance system on TakeALot website, the system includes a DVR, cables, power supplies, cameras, and a few other items,

These items have been installed inside and around the house, however the DVR started to give me issues, no connecting to the TV, I returned the DVR for repair or replacement, only for TakeALot department to tell me they want the rest of the items that are already installed in order for them for to look at the DVR. I told them that is not possible considering how much it will cost me to disconnect and connect all the items and all the fact that the rest of the items are working. i mentioned to the consultant that if they want the items to be responsible for the cost of disconnecting and connecting again. They have since went AWOL on me. I also find this return policy ridiculous, it makes absolutely no sense. The item is still on warranty and they act like it is not or it was donated to me
