Incomplete cookerhood NO button

I bought a cookerhood on the 11th of June ,I only received it .I didn't open it right away as I was saving for other appliances for my kitchen unit .The cookerhood was opened today to be installed and the carpenter only realised after installation that it doesn't have a button.I can't log a return because it's installed all I'm asking for is for the missing button please.My newly built kitchen looks incomplete......I AM SO DISAPPOINTED AT TAKEALOT, FOR SELLING ME A PRODUCT LIKE THAT.
