<p>Takealot was R55 cheaper on the item I wanted. Only problem is that I wanted it the same day. So I added the guaranteed delivery for R120 extra. Making the item more expensive but I feel the best priced store gets my support.</p> <p> </p> <p>I placed my order and paid for it before 8:00am. Received a phone call just after 9:00am to arrange a delivery time. The lady said I will receive my item before 5pm. I told her that it must be before 4pm as I have to leave the office at 4pm. She confirmed that it was possible and a hour later I received an sms stating delivery will take place before 4pm.</p> <p> </p> <p>At 4:05pm I phoned Takealot, they asked that I wait 20min. At 4:35pm I phoned Takealot, they said the driver was around the corner from me. At 4:50pm I phoned again. They asked for 10 minutes. At 5:00pm I left to go fetch my kids.</p> <p> </p> <p>Not only have you taken R120 for a failed guaranteed delivery but you have taken something you can’t replace. My time. I asked for this to happen before 4pm, you wasted my time until 5pm only to not deliver. This is not the 1st time but it is the last. I don’t want the item, I want my money back and I don’t want your store credit as I will never buy something from you again.</p>
