*********** consultants, faulty products
Where do I start. Whenever I wanted to electronics I always looked Takealot first and bought a few very expensive items from them. So when I decided to purchase a notebook Takealot was the first place I looked at. I bought a notebook from Takealot early September 2018. A month later the notebook wasn’t going on anymore . I logged a return and the notebook was collected 8 October 2018. I was informed that there was a missing accessory namely the charger. I looked everywhere for it and couldn’t find it. I spoke to a call center agent Anele Mbauli and explained my predicament. I asked him want my next step should be and he advised me to get a replacement charger from Takealot and told me they don’t have stock at moment. I decided to purchase a similar charger from a computer shop. The charger was collected on 18 October 2018 and here’s where the trouble started. On Monday 22 October 18 I queried about the status of my return and was than informed I bought the incorrect charger they wanted an original charger. Than I was very confused, firstly Anele advised me to get a replacement charger than another call center agent said the need the original. To make matters even worse I got a threatening email from Tshepang Oageng today stating that if I don’t provide them with the correct accessory within 3 days they will cancel my return. Seriously I’m lost for words. If I received the correct advise in the beginning this would not have happened. I don’t think I will ever buy anything from Takealot ever again.
