Incompetence

On the 14th of November I placed an order from Takealot for a few items. The one item was a birthday gift for a family member who's birthday is on the 26th of November. The item that was suppose to be the gift said it will take 5-7 working days. That was fine as it is 12 days before the birthday. Takealot originally gave a delivery date of 22 November. Later when I logged onto my account that date changed to the 27th of November. 1 day after the birthday! I asked to have the item cancelled as it is of no use to me. Then the idiot at Takealot cancelled my whole order!! I emailed them and last night a lady phoned. She said they reinstated my order. But now the order is below the R450 mark and I have to pay a delivery fee!! This is ridiculous, it is a fault of Takealot who could not keep at their delivery dates and now I must also pay for delivery.!
