Formal Complaint Regarding Inadequate Assessment and Manufacturing Defect

I wish to formally express my dissatisfaction with the assessment conducted on my chair claim. It is evident that the inspection was not carried out thoroughly and appears to have re**** solely on surface-level photographs, without adequate investigation into the underlying fault.

The damage in question is not cosmetic. The armrest failure resulted from a bracket breaking away from the internal steel frame of the chair, which indicates a structural manufacturing defect. This type of failure should have been identified through a proper and comprehensive assessment.

For clarity, the chair was used by an 11-year-old child weighing under 50kg. On this basis, there is no reasonable justification to classify this issue as wear and tear, misuse, overloading, or improper assembly.

To be explicit:

The damage was not caused by misuse or improper assembly The damage is not consistent with normal wear and tear The failure points to poor workmanship and/or a manufacturing defect

The bracket that failed forms part of the original internal frame of the chair — a sealed structural component that I did not alter, access, or modify in any way. It is therefore unreasonable to suggest that this defect could have been prevented, identified, or repaired by me.

The conclusion reached in the current assessment is unacceptable and does not reflect a proper technical evaluation of the product. I request that this matter be escalated to a senior representative for review, as I do not believe the claim has been handled with the required level of professionalism.

I further request that the chair be reassessed by a qualified individual who can properly inspect the structural integrity of the product, rather than relying solely on external photographs.

I trust this matter will be addressed urgently and resolved in accordance with acceptable standards of product quality and customer service.
