Inaccurate Delivery Dates

I decided to buy my husband his birthday present on Takealot, before confirming my order, they stated that it would arrive on the 8th of Feb, directly after payment has been made, the delivery date changed to the 9th, and now (on the 2nd) the deliver date changed to the 12th which is WAY past his birthday! Why not state from the beginning, then I wouldn’t have placed the order and I’d have gone to a shop in the first place!
