Illogical process and careless staff

Ordered a Hikvision camera kit(Cameras, HDD, cables, NVR) from Takealot. Received my package and had an installer come around and install the system. After doing all the cabling and cameras, when we where to install the HDD it turns out to be faulty.

So I went and logged a call to takealot on *** which I was greeted with a message that that email doesn't work. Reluctantly I went and used the other system and got a response from Joshua.O (yep not even a full name) which advised me I need to take out the WHOLE system and take it back to Takealot for an exchange.

Could you please introduce me to the scientists and mathematicians that calculated the process??!! Are you going to pay for the installer to come out and remove, replace the kit?

Just to cover some senseless questions: #1 - Installer only did HDD last as it is the LAST STEP. #2 - I didn't do it as I am not qualified to work with that. #3 - Yes you can refund the value of the HDD or send a different one.
