If you can't deliver on time don't overpromise.

So, I have always had the best service from Takealot for all my orders, unfortunately until now. We will see if this post just gets blocked... I was told that delivery would happen yesterday before 17:00, as this is a bulky object I need to be at home to accept. I sat at home unable to go out for the whole day. 17:00 tried to phone the call center however due to Covid you are instructed to lodge a request on the site and turnaround is 72 hours!!! So I started that process. Then sent a PM on the FB page which has not been read yet. We all know there are unfortunate events and delays which is fine but, now I am sitting in the dark here having to wait for another day and not even knowing whether delivery will take place. At least if I knew what was going on I could go to a pick up point or something. But no contact!! And if delivery doe not happen today it will most probably mean I will not receive my parcel until next week!! Takealot
