I will not be bying any electical item on Takealot again.

I will not be buying any electrical item on Takealot again. I bought a Krups Waffle Toaster of around R 1500 and the teflon coating starting coming off because the bottom plate is slightly skew and opening and closing it make the coating come off where it is touching. I emailed the supplier as Takealot says it is not their responsibility. The supplier did not respond to my email and I have reported the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.

I am sure if I bought this at a proper store like Yuppie Chef, this matter would have been solved. So my advise is to rather this type of items from a store that can put pressure on the supplier.
