I Waited a Week for Broken Glass

As a frequent buyer on Takealot.com, I was extremely disappointed to find that a set of glasses I recently ordered had arrived damaged - one glass was completely broken. After waiting almost a week for delivery, I now have to return the order and hope that the replacement arrives before Christmas, as this was meant to be a gift.

The Takealot box this order came in had no sticker or marking to indicate that the contents were fragile, and to top it off the box itself was badly damaged and looked as if it had been thrown into the delivery van from ten metres away.

I am appalled that this is how orders are treated, particularly ones with fragile contents. If the replacement doesn't come on time before Christmas I will not be using Takealot again.
