I regret placing an order from Takealot, they are extremely unprofessional.

I have placed an order at Takealot on the 14.12.2023 & I got a confirmation that it will be delivered on the 19.12.2023. I called Takealot to confirm when will I be receiving my order since I have not received any notification & Thuliswa.S told me that the driver was hijacked & I can only get my get my order after the 25.12.2023 or get a refund. When I called again & spoke to Thando & he said there was not Hijacking, as per the information on the system. The system reports that the order was damaged in transit & has been reordered by Thuliswa. I will receive my order on the 22.12.2023 as per the update on the system.

How can Thuliswa lie about the driver being hijacked, she is so insensitive. I needed this order by Thursday 21.12.2023 as I am taking leave. so Now I must drive to my work place just to collect the gift. No one called me to inform me why my order is delaying, the next thing I have to wait again for so long. Why should I wait this long for a ring light only???? While Thuliswa told me that it be quicker since they have the product in stock, they don't have to place an order from a supplier. OR was she lying to me again.

I regret the day I placed an order from Takealot. I will NEVER recommend it to anyone. When I track how far is my Order , it's still not shipped & my other order that was supposed to be delivered today, the date has now been changed without any SMS notification.
