I have supported Takelaot over the years and my experience has been good until now. I recently ordered an item MRRN-HJGPA-HYZ7 and paid R250 plus R70 delivery. When the package arrived I found that they had sent me a cheaper item but maintained the higher cost. I returned the package and requested my original order. The incorrect item was collected and I received an email stating the origal item was not available but I could order a refund if I wished. No apology for their error in over-charging me. I have app**** for a refund RFN-wj4b-gg3b but am unable to recover the delivery cost. This was their error and the over-charge if deliberate could be considered *****. This relatively minor incident has been exacerbated by the fact that it is nigh on impossible to communicate with Takealot other than by pre-programmed computerised options. I shall thing twice before using them in the future.
