I feel ******. Paid for an order with no delivery

I ordered on the 31 May which estimation for delivery was the 21st June. I was sms’d on 2 different occasions that my order will be delivered and on both occasions I received no delivery not even a call to say the driver is around. I have ordered numerous times and the drivers contact me so that we can meet somewhere in town. A called was made to takealot on the 7 July and a consultant had said she was going to follow up and get back to me. Till date nothing not even an sms. When I track my parcel it is says: Courier delay! I paid and have no package very disappointed and angry as this was a gift for my dad which his birthday has come an gone.
