Humidifier has a noisy fan.

I've had several Elektra humidifiers in my life and all have them have lasted in excess of 2 years. This one however was bought less than 3 months ago and the fan (when switched on) makes a dreadful noise. Though the noise goes away after a few minutes, this noisy fan is usually the indication of the machine breaking (and normally only after 18 months of use). Please assist me with the Warranty return/repair on this device.
