Horrible Take a lot experience

If I could give zero starts i would. I orders a remote control car for my son’s birthday. The product was ordered on 24th of January and only delivered on 14 February. When the delivery person handed me the box, I asked him is this it as the box was very light. I went inside and opened the package. I noticed the package and box inside was empty, so I ran after the delivery person. I managed to stop him at our entrance to the complex and I told him the package was empty. He took photos and said that he would call the office. I then immediately called Takealot’s call centre and logged the return. Takealot then collected the empty box the 16th of February and then indicated that they are not accepting the return as the product was apparently pack at the distribution centre. I asked for proof of the weight upon delivery and when it left the distribution centre, however Takealot did not respond. I also emailed Takealot’s legal team multiple times and shared video footage of me running after the delivery person, with the empty package and still no response or resolution. I was ****med by Takealot. I paid R923 for an empty box. I also reported this to the Consumer Protection Commission and they indicated that Takealot's also did not respond to them.
