Horrible service from Takelot.com

I purchased a desk fan as a gift for a friend in December 2023. After 3 uses, she informed me it just stopped working. I then informed takealot.com and they collected it. It turns out that they actually delivered what I did not order. They delivered a cheap, flimsy fan, instead of the one I ordered. Now they do not want to deliver the correct item, nor fix the incorrect item. I am told I should have informed them in 30 days. Absolute nonsense.

I do not want a refund. I want the item I actually paid for. I would not have known I ordered the incorrect item if they had not let me know as this purchase was a gift for a friend!!!
