Horrible return policy and misleading of selling!

I bought a Russell Hobbs kettle last year with a 2 year warranty. The kettle stops working and I returned it. After evaluation and inspection. They confirm that the element is done and the return can only be issued if the additional year warranty was logged. No where in the product info on take lot gave any instruction to do so. I'm appaul as this is misleading. U buy an expensive item for it to last longer and not be miss sold. Disgusted with their service
