Horrible customer service

I purchased a Lenovo Ideapad 330-15IKB Core i7 8th Gen Notebook earlier this year. The laptop is dreadfully slow and hangs when performing simple tasks. For the specs advertised it’s performance is subpar to put it mildly. I’m currently writing my thesis and having word and excel open at the same time takes a toll on the so called i7 8th Gen processor with turbo boost from 1.8 to 4GHz speed my [insert expletive]. After searching the internet for reviews of the product, it turns out people were having the same problem with this overpriced and defective model. This led me to believe that Lenovo is aware of how problematic this product is but continue to sell it to people. Takealot customer service is trash and just looks out for the company’s hood at the expense of their customers. They look for loopholes in their “terms and conditions” to shift responsibility. I will no longer to buying from them and will not take this matter lying down. Both Lenovo and Takealot will be held accountable.
