Headboard disaster

I bought a headboard from Takealot in November,first of all it was very poor quality ...I comforted myself by saying..u know what it is cheap anyways..it's fine.Then I opened the item to assemble the legs and the holes created for the *****s were so unprofessionally done to be polite.They had big gains,the wood around the holes looked chipped,the other leg u could see behind the covering that there was some piece missing,I wrote a review to them immediately to voice my complaint and disgust at takealot ,I put the headboard on the side instructed my nanny not to use it...and a few weeks later I said no let me make time to attend to this issue ..it pained me to see my money buying such *******,I then decided to log in a return request , It was fetched and they sent me email updates about the process which I appreciated,it was days later when they told me that they will not be refunding or exchanging my product because it came with damaged holes and it was dirty so they will return it to me .So they declined me ,I asked how because I sent it back for the very reason ,as for the dirt when it left it was clean because it was never used but put on the side of the bed...it's worse upon the return of the product I could see that it was sitting on a muddy area it was not just dirty it was soiled ,the legs were soiled the headboard itself was filthy I said there is no way on earth I'm taking this back ....it was in such a state...I sent an email again for the third time they still reviewed and declined me ..I then told them that there is no way I'm taking the headboard back in that state.To date they haven't responded.
