Hassle laden Exchange!

Takealot does exactly that.......they take a lot...... they take a lot of money, take a lot of time to get back to you and certainly take a lot of you do a return!

I requested a "hassle free" return (they lie, its full of hassles) and then personally returned the item to their depot in Polokwane.

Days later, the item eventually shows up on their stupid tracking system in Joburg. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 days for them to inspect the item. Then I have to wait for them to credit my Takealot account. Then I have to wait another 5 to 7 working days to get my money back!

When I asked them why? They simply blamed the banks!

South Africa has a long way to go before on-line shopping is going to be common place.... But, seeing that South Africa has such low standards and expectations, Takealot will do just fine.

They are *****! Exchanges are not hassle free.......

So, if you never exchange anything, their service is great.
