Frustrating Returns Policy!!!

I have been trying to return an item that I bought but does not work. I was told on the 17th August that the item would be collected. Everyday since then, I get an sms saying that the pickup is rescheduled to the next day. The item has still not been picked up. It's the 24th today. This is extremely frustrating.
