Generally Takealot is very good and I use them weekly. However, my wife and I have had 3 instances recently where a third party delivered something completely different from the description on the web site, and then Takealot refused to publish our poor reviews intended to warn other buyers. (To be fair, Takealot did process the returns without fuss). 1) Instead of a 3D gold wire Christmas decoration we received a piece of gold foil cut in the shape of a star. 2) The Takealot description said a cell phone was not network locked, and then when it arrived it was. 3) Instead of a high quality mosquito zapper (which we'd purchased previously so we knew what it looked like) we received a *******, flimsy one.

In at least 2 of the above, they weren't just accidents and the suppliers were being dishonest. Yet my reviews haven't been posted and the items are still listed on the web site to catch the next customer.
