***** and theft on return item!

I bought two iPhones from takealot and then decided to return one, still sealed in the box, accepted at the Bramley branch and confirmation that it was returned to them. 8 days later I get an email asking if I perhaps returned a reusable coffee cup instead of the iPhone. What an absolute joke? They sent me a picture of the cup, it was in a different box to the one I used to return the phone (takealot box) and it was too big to even fit in the box that I returned the phone in. Someone at takealot along the way decided to swap the return label on the box or something and stole the phone! Beware returning anything of value to takealot. I am yet to be refunded for the R27k phone which their staff have ******.
