Fire sale leaves customers burned !

<p>On Monday 20 Feb I made a purchase on takealot fire sale. An activity bundle that comprises of 12 titles ...I was very happy with my purchase as it usually sells for a few hundred but on sale was 82 bucks! I confirmed my order and chose credit as payment.</p> <p> </p> <p>I had issues with my credit card and logged a query saying I am struggling with payment but wanted to make sure when the order would be cancelled if payment not completed...I was told I have until Thursday 23 Feb at 5pm to sort out payment or the order would automatically cancel and I would lose the sale items.</p> <p> </p> <p>I managed to sort out credit card and paid on the Thursday. On Friday Morning I received an email stating that the English fun bundle was no longer in stock and they tried to source from different suppliers but cannot be found. ..and thus I was given a credit on my account.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was told that I did not make payment in time and they were limited sale units!really take a lot I reserved a unit ! And even your reminder emails said I have until Thursday 23 Feb to pay! </p> <p> </p> <p>I sent an email back and requested that at least a compromise or alternative be provided but no response but guess what ....I searched thru the app and found the very same books available and in stock in 2 separate bundles of 6 each. ..The books were even on daily deal on Friday 24 Feb and again yesterday on Monday 27 Feb .</p> <p> </p> <p>I requested that this option of sending me the 2 bundles be considered and discussed with product team and suppliers and sent this email with relevant links and screen shots on Friday afternoon.
