Fault Electric Blanket

I purchased the product from Takealot under Order #*** on 8 May 2026. The product is still within the 12-month warranty period, yet I am being referred to the manufacturer instead of receiving assistance from Takealot as the seller. I would like clarity on why Takealot is refusing to handle the warranty claim and directing me elsewhere. Under the Consumer Protection Act, consumers generally have rights against the supplier from whom the goods were purchased. I request that Takealot honour its obligations and provide a proper resolution to this matter.
