False Promises about Delivery
Tuesday 24th November I purchased & paid for a tv with confirmation of delivery for Thursday 26 , on Wednesday i noticed that my delivery date pushed on to Friday 27 , upon enquiring the change i was told that the tv was dispatched from CPT but upon purchase it clearly stated that stock was available in JHB , on Friday i called the call centre to establish the expected time of delivery & was promised that they will call me back which never happened, a further 5 more callsbto them ( each time i was promised someone will get back to me no one did ) by 5pm i eventually got hold of the Supervisor Maxwell who made many excuses for the delayed delivery & now pushed the deluvery to Monday 30th , Saturday morning i called the Take a Lot call centre which this time promised a delivery before 2pm on the day , but by 1pm i was contacted by them to say that Sky Net their delivery partner does not workbon a Saturday so back to Monday delivery.
In the process Black Friday had some wonderful deals on tv's much better than my purchase but been out of pocket for R9 500 i could not afford another purchase & return the original purchase.
I am disappointed & feel cheated by the lies & excuses.
We sincerely apologise for messing you around with this order's delivery. We know saying sorry doesn't make things any better and that we've caused you a great deal of frustration. Shopping with us is supposed to be a simple matter of placing your order and receiving it and we're sorry that this wasn't the case. We appreciate that you took our team leader, Kevin's call to shed some light on this matter. As discussed the delivery branch who's been assigned to your order is closed over weekends. We'll therefore follow up with them first thing on Monday morning to get an update on your parcel's whereabouts and will make sure that it's delivered as a matter of priority. We'll also investigate where this matter went wrong so that any problem areas can be corrected to prevent such a disappointment in future.
Sincerely,
