FALSE ONLINE ADVERTISING - PRICE CHANGES AT CHECKOUT

<p>So today i wanted to purchase the pro evolution soccer 2017 game from Takealot.com for R279 as they've advertised. Selected the item (even have a screen shot of the price) and went to checkout - upon getting to my cart the item price changes to R699 Also took a screenshot of this. </p> <p> </p> <p>I call them and query it - the consultant tells me that it is out of stock and the deal is now finished and the price has changed to R699( BUT ITS A 1 DAY DEAL - shouldnt this be for a full 24 hours?). i went back in and told him that the price is still there for R279 and how can it be out of stock for R279 but in stock for me to purchase it at R699.</p> <p> </p> <p>I ask to speak to a manager and he tells me that his manager will tell me the same thing and i will not get my item for the price I see, which is R279 and if i want it i will have to purchase quickly for R699 because theres only 7 left. RIDICULOUS.... was told the manager will call me back once he has escalated - however, he didnt take my details. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
