False, deceptive, misleading

<p>I ordered a torch in December from takealot as it was at a very good price, marked down from R499 to R350 for an ultrafire Cree led torch. When I received the torch it was nothing more than a Chinese made torch which the Chinese store down the road was selling for R150. I contacted takealot and after a few emails I finally get a reply saying the seller does not have the torch as illustrated and that I was sent the wrong item. I was then asked if I wanted to return the item as I had expressed my disgust in takealot for allowing false advertising of items. I opted for the refund and return and although after all the mails back and forth I was told to fill in the returns and state what the problem was for returning the item, like I had not dealt with anyone for the last 3 weeks.</p> <p>I have since made contact with the DTI and will await their solution or options they have as takealot don't seem to care about their customers. ( bare in mind I have made 3 other orders since, but if this is how they treat clients I would rather go elsewhere)</p>
