False Advertising by TAKEALOT.COM

On the 17th January I bought 2 x HP Dual Toner packs for R 5000 as advertised in the photographs and description of the advert and offer. On delivery realised I had been sent two single tonners and not the dual pack as offered and advertised so I reported it to the call center who said they would immediately resolve and contact the supplier and send me the correct items as ordered. WELL what a disaster it was form here onwards,this is how it played out. I did not receive the replacement items or any suggested solutions , however they were very quick to collect the items. And then a list of delays followed for the following reasons.

1st Excuse - They have no stock ,2nd Excuse waiting for supplier, 3rd Excuse they have withdrawn the offer due to no stock and the 4th Excuse given on 29th January ,is they made a mistake on the offer, so i must just accept the terms and conditions and the deal is off.

Sorry but I do not agree or find this conduct acceptable from the supplier or TAKEALOT .COM ,as I believe they should have done everything possible with the customer myself to make good. Also the supplier should make good and also compromise their efforts for the false advertising. I bet you there are no terms and conditions to suppliers and false adverti*****ts when luring consumers to buy their products at any price.

Unfortunately this is not good enough and I wonder what the terms and conditions are regarding the refund and how they function on FALSE ADVERTI*****TS.
