False advertising & no delivery of paid items by TAKEALOT

I scheduled a gender reveal for 10 April 2022. I went onto the Takealot app and ordered a gender reveal smoke cannon on 30 March 2022, I paid immediately. The app said delivery would be effected by 4 April 2022. When I tracked my delivery on the 4th I read that the delivery is being re-routed. I called Takealot and was advised by Zulpha.M that their drivers are striking & deliveries would go out on 5 April. However, Fabian.B informed me that they had no idea when the problem would be resolved. When I asked both of them to advise me on a refund, all my emails were ignored. I have no purpose for a gender reveal cannon if they deliver way out of time. Furthermore when you go onto the app it still allows you to order and normal and falsely advertises that delivery will be affected in 3-5 days. This is a blatant lie from the company as they are fully aware that they dont have drivers and therefore cannot effect ANY deliveries! Absolute con artists!
