False Advertising - Misleading prices

<p>This complaint refers to the DAILY DEAL for the NORDIC IP67 FITNESS SMART BAND. When I added this item to my cart, both the DAILY DEALS page and the PRODUCT INFO page, showed that there were still 3 remaining at the discounted price. However, once I added it to my cart, it showed the price at the non-discounted price.</p> <p> </p> <p>I UNDERSTAND that you have a limited amount of stock that you sell at the discounted price on your daily deal. However, when the non-discounted price reflected in my shopping cart, I went back to both the DAILY DEALS page, and the PRODUCT info page and REFRESHED, and both pages still showed that there were 3 left at the discounted price. I proceeded to add another item to my cart, which again added it to my cart at the non-discounted price.</p> <p> </p> <p>I continued to place my order and contacted Takealot by phone, which was a whole new mess. Firstly, the 086 number that is displayed on the website says that the "Number does not exist". I had to use Google to get the 087 number. Secondly, I had to phone 3 times, because the first 2 times somebody picked up and without saying a word transferred me to "Mr Delivery Couriers" where I got a "we are closed" message. Only on the 3rd attempt did somebody pick up and actually assist me. However, this person was unwilling or unable to understand my side of the story (i.e: I verified TWICE that there were still items available at the discounted price, but the item was not being added to my cart at the discounted price).</p>
