False Advertising, Misleading Customers, Poor customer service

I purchased 15 LEDs about 8 months ago from Find Out More via TakeALot. After doing my research I finally decided on a particular LED available on the TakeALot site due to the fact that these LEDs were available at a good price, the specs looked great, and they were advertised as having a 25.000 hour lifetime (which is equivalent to 3 years continuous use). Unfortunately this was all false advertising as the LED's were never as bright as advertised, and they started failing one after another. I didn't bother complaining when the first 2 or 3 LED's failed as that is sometimes to be expected, however when 7 failed within 8 months of my purchase I decided to complain right after the summer school holidays. Unfortunately TakeALot and Find Out More now inform me that these LEDs only have a 6 month warranty. Neither they, nor their supplier, are prepared to replace the damaged lights, despite the fact that they are advertised as having a 25.000 hour lifespan. I find this extremely misleading and unreasonable as 50% of the LED's I purchased failed within 6 months, but I only complained in the 8th month and so I don't qualify for the warranty on a poor product which was falsely advertised.
