False advertising

Takealot has products and items that they promote as being in stock and available for online delivery if you live in the major cities mentioned.

I ordered some things for my son's birthday online, and the order status said that they would be delivered the next day. When the big day arrived, they adjusted everything, shifting the date foward by one day. Takealot agents are oblivious to how the UI works. They said that I had to pay more for next-day delivery, which the payment mechanism does not allow for. Another stated it was because I live in a distant place, therefore it automatically adjusted the delivery date, making a statement without knowing where I live.

I had to cancel the order because it had been prepared just for that day, therefore breaking a promise I made to my son. On Saturday, I placed another order with the help of an agent named Simiso.Everything was made easier by the guy.To his surprise, the next day delivery items are not available for next day delivery; this is misleading advertising. He said that he would check the product's availability with the warehouse.He reported that the products were in stock. He hopes they arrive tomorrow as promised.

The things have not arrived as of today. Takealot's advertising is deceptive. I double-checked their system today.It said that I am eligible for next-day delivery
