False Advertising and rejection of bad reviews
You know there is something wrong with an e-commerce platform when they encourage product reviews but only accept positive reviews on their platform. Typically a sign of poor executive direction in promoting acceptance of false platform confidence through denial of unfavourable reviews.
I purchased a product “Hi Pressure Car Washer” after rigorously assessing the advertised pictures and product content sections to ensure that it meets my minimum requirement.
Product arrived, boxed, but with indication that the box had been opened and retaped multiple times. Needless to say, not all parts included in the box.
Wrote a review "Twice", both times rejected with a response that I should rather follow the refund process.
The refund process offers two options 1) Replace product or 2) Refund Purchase. I selected replace product hoping to get the same with all parts this time. I received a message stating that the item was "Out of Stock" and therefore they performed a refund. Indeed, the item was shown "Out of Stock" for 2 days then again, "In Stock".
Who is the next victim who will receive the one I sent back. This time with one more layer of tape on the box.
